Disparity Trap is a The Socially Conscious Board Game that provides an easy way to have the hard conversations around race & privilege in America and how they impact society in systemically dominant (SD) and systemically non-dominant (SND) ways. 

Disparity Trap is based on the work and research of Dr. Debra Jenkins. She terms systemic racism as a framework that has beneficiaries and nonbeneficiaries.

The game play is like many of its kind, where your individual goal is to accrue as much wealth as possible. But where it differs is that you can have a team goal as well where you work with  your fellow players to dismantle the Disparity Traps seeking to keep everyone in poverty.

So like life, the dice are in your hands, but the odds are not.
